I started fishing at the Apollo Beach Marina as a first mate on grouper and shrimp boats in 1975. My parents were part owners of the marina. I was throwing a cast net, catching bait, and selling it at their bait shop.
I have fished Tampa Bay all my life and I wanted to continue what I love. Becoming a charter captain and fishing guide was an easy choice. I now enjoy guiding my customers to the fish and watching the excitement on their faces.
